Centella Asiatica is fast becoming one of my favourite skincare ingredients, and this serum is a big reason why.

I picked up the Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum (Unscented) during a season when my skin was craving gentleness, barrier support, and calm.
After falling for their Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream, I wanted to try another Purito product that could help maintain the progress I was seeing in my skin. And from the first use, this serum felt like something I could trust. No irritation, no breakouts – just a light, soothing layer of hydration that made my skin feel settled and protected.
After a month of use, here’s my honest thoughts about this product.
Packaging & First Impressions
The serum comes in a sleek, pump-style bottle that feels easy and hygienic to use. I love this kind of container because it’s super convenient. It dispenses just the right amount, and the texture is lightweight—almost gel-like—but still feels cushiony on the skin.
There’s no fragrance or essential oils, which makes it an instant yes for sensitive skin. From the packaging to the formula, it’s designed to be fuss-free and functional.

Ingredients Breakdown
The serum is packed with Centella Asiatica extract (49%), and it’s known for its incredible calming, anti-redness, and skin barrier–supporting properties. It also contains panthenol (provitamin B5), which helps soothe and hydrate, and madecassoside, one of the most active compounds in centella, known for reducing inflammation and strengthening the skin.
I think what’s beautiful about this formula is that it focuses on what sensitive, irritated skin (like mine) really needs: calm, repair, and hydration.
What does Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum do?
This serum is formulated to calm irritation, hydrate sensitive skin, and support your skin’s natural barrier over time. It helps reduce redness, cool down inflammation, and give your skin the comfort it needs, especially if you’ve been dealing with sensitivity or over-exfoliation.
I added this serum to my routine to maintain the progress I was making with my barrier. It became the perfect daily support step (mostly in my morning routine), one that helped my skin feel more resilient, less reactive, and overall more at ease.
Is Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum for day or night?
You can use it for both. Although, I personally use it in the morning under my moisturiser and SPF. I think this is perfect for summertime because it’s super lightweight and non-greasy. Here’s a peek at my current summer skincare routine.
It also gives you that healthy glow. I would’ve use this during night time as well, but I’m using another serum at night. It layers beautifully—no pilling, no stickiness—and doesn’t compete with other products. It felt especially soothing at night, like giving my skin a little reset button before bed.
Can I use Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum every day?
Yes, and I did—consistently for nearly a month. It’s gentle enough for everyday use, even if you’re prone to breakouts, redness, or irritation. I had zero reactions while using it, and it actually helped keep my skin balanced during a time when I was still rebuilding my barrier. If anything, it became one of those staple serums I could rely on when my skin felt overwhelmed or unpredictable.
My Experience
The moment I saw “Centella” on the label, I was curious. I’ve slowly developed a bit of an obsession with this ingredient, and this serum really made me fall in love with it. I used it alongside the Mighty Bamboo Cream, and together, they made my skin feel calm, clear, and protected.
Okay, it didn’t perform miracles overnight, but it gave me something I value even more—stability. No flare-ups, no new breakouts, and no dry patches. Just consistently calm, hydrated skin.
I genuinely look forward to using this again, especially with summer around the corner. I’m now eyeing the rest of the Wonder Releaf line (yes, the toner too) because if it’s anything like this serum, I’m all in!
If your skin is sensitive, reactive, or just needs a break from too many actives, this serum is a solid choice. It’s gentle, calming, and great for keeping your skin barrier happy over time.
But if your skin barrier is really compromised—like dry, tight, stinging kind of compromised—this serum won’t magically fix everything on its own. It’s more of a supportive layer, not the whole solution. You’ll still need a good moisturiser (and maybe a few other hydrating products) to really bring your skin back to balance.
I think it works beautifully on oily, dry, or combination skin because it hydrates without heaviness.
I honestly think this serum is a keeper. It’s simple, soothing, and safe—three things I want in a daily serum. It doesn’t promise to transform your skin in a week, but it gives your skin the consistent support it needs to stay strong and balanced. And sometimes, that’s exactly what your skin is asking for.
Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Pros and Cons

Overall, I think this serum isn’t trying to be the star of the show, but that’s kind of what I love about it.
It’s calm, dependable, and gives my skin the quiet support it needs right now. I highly recommend this product especially if your skin’s feeling overwhelmed or just needs a reset, this is a lovely one to have in the mix.
